Digital wedding invitations

How much does a digital wedding invitation cost in 2026?

Updated

A digital wedding invitation costs from nothing to about €1,000 for a design a studio makes from scratch. With RSVP, for 80 guests, most of the services we checked cost between about €40 and €100: priced by the number of guests on Greenvelope, Paperless Post or Evite, once per wedding on Sponsalia, Wedvite or with us.

How are digital wedding invitations priced?

In one of four ways:

  • By the number of guests, as on Greenvelope, Paperless Post and Evite: the price grows with your guest list.
  • Once per wedding, as on Sponsalia, Wedvite and My Day: the same price for 40 guests or 400.
  • Free on a wedding-website platform, as on Joy: free cards with RSVP, with premium designs and text messages paid.
  • A picture you design yourself in a tool such as Canva, free or with a subscription, and send in your messages.

What do the main services charge?

Prices as each service showed them on its own pages on 20 October 2026. They change, so check before you buy.

Some sites show euros to visitors from the EU and dollars to others. Watch for costs outside the headline price: text messages, guests over the tier, extra languages, a longer time online.

A price per guest suits a small wedding; a price per wedding gets better with every guest you add. Our own plans are in the section below.

What should the price include?

More than the design. Before you compare prices, check that each one includes the things your guests will use:

  • RSVP: where the answers go, and whether you can export them.
  • The plan of the day, the places on a map, and the hotel and transport for guests who travel.
  • Changes after you send it: a new time or a new place without a new invitation.
  • How long the link stays online, and what keeping it longer costs.
  • Languages: a second version for guests who read another language.
  • Limits: the number of guests, sends or reminders in the price.

Is a free digital invitation enough?

It can be. Joy gives free cards with RSVP as part of its wedding-website platform; what you pay for there is the premium designs. A picture you make in a design tool is free too, but it cannot collect answers, link to the places or change once it is sent, so you end up gathering replies by hand in your messages.

What does a My Day invitation cost?

One price per wedding, for any number of guests. Basic and Premium are one payment when you publish; Signature is half to start and half at publishing. Making the invitation and seeing it with your names is free.

Basic
€39: one of our designs in one language, RSVP to a Google Sheet and your inbox, live for 12 months.
Premium
€89: English and Ukrainian versions, your colours and RSVP questions, live at least 12 months.
Signature
from €179: a design made for you from a brief, three rounds of changes, your own domain.
Save the date
€19: your names, the date and a countdown; taken off the invitation’s price if you order one.

Add-ons: a second language on Basic €15, your own domain €29 a year, another 12 months online €19. No subscription, and no VAT added.

How can you spend less on invitations?

  • Count your guests first: a price per guest grows with the list, a price per wedding does not.
  • Send one link instead of paper and postage, and print a few cards only for the guests who want one.
  • Start with a save the date only if your guests need to book travel; with us its price counts towards the invitation.
  • Pay for a second language only if some guests read another one.
